For great capture make your pet birds camera friendly by always clicking photos of every one around so that they know they are not the only one facing the beast!
Always keep the friendliest person most comfortable person near your pet when clicking the first time so that even if they get scared the person can hold them and hug them to make them feel safe and secure.
Click many picture so that you get a few good ones at hand!
Use good camera so that the images are captured the best even if the pet bird moves.
(Date 29 April 2013, I am adding a few words here today, as I jumped upon this older post to view photos of her, the lovely bird from paradise is still missing. the pain still remains an empty space within, for two and a half years with us, she was never kept in a cage, so many parrots fly over the terrace, large groups of alexandrines, she would never mix with them.
Keep taking pictures of your pet birds, like we now have only the sweet memories left, I still do not know where she is , missing since Nov 24, 2012, Hope wherever Mitthin is she is healthy and happy.
Love to all those beautiful angels birds from paradise.)
