Is it good to grow Bonsai plant ? Feng shui symbolism of Ficus Bonsai

Feng shui about Bonsai plants is very auspicious now as we see beautiful bonsai plants growing happily in hones and offices. They are more costly as compared to other plants. Their low space needs and low maintenance with majestic aura of seniority authority makes them a good choice for placement anywhere. Last year I added a Ficus auspicious bonsai plant and it seems happy in our window garden. Hence sharing my practical experience and tips to care for bonsai plants.

Earlier Feng shui masters used to avoid placement of Bonsai plants in home or office as these are small with stunted growth in limited space. Symbolism behind this was that placing this type of bonsai brings negative energy to the inmates. They suffer from restricted growth in personal and professional life. 

Ficus Bonsai plant 

 Ficus Bonsai is a goodluck money luck plant. Usually bonsai plants are grown in small ceramic containers for water retention and low maintenance. 

Thick Ficus Bonsai plant 

The beautiful bonsai plants look majestic with thick stems and command respect love from viewer. There is a stored energy which is why they can grow without water and more sunlight for many days and years.

Tips for Bonsai plant care-

Choose a good container. Not very big , medium size with broad bottom and enough support for roots. When you buy bonsai plants you usually get it already planted in containers. 

Choose the right spot. Usually placed near windows, bonsai plants require less sunlight and die in direct sunlight exposure. 

Watering must be measured and not everyday. This advice you get from plant nursery people but trust me, each plant has its own requirement. You learn by how your bonsai responds.

Delicate trimming sometimes is required if your bonsai growth is fast. Because they may outgrow the container and then slowly get yellow leaves and die due to incomplete nourishment.

Feng shui symbolism of  Ficus Bonsai -

This Blessed plant is symbolic of good luck and wealth. In feng shui the plant is also called as the wealth plant.

Placing the ficus Bonsai in your prosperity corner or feng shui wealth corner brings immense value to life and attracts abundance in all positive aspects of life. Indoor in living room the left innermost corner is auspicious but if there is very low light then choose another spot. South, southeast of your home or office is good. Personally I found the Ficus Bonsai Love north and bring immense happiness. 

In office some people place bonsai plants at entrance or side of office table. Just see that the plant doesn't interfere with your work performance. Means watering or leaves dropping must not make your office table work space dirty. 

The ficus Bonsai plant has dark green oval shaped leaves with a thick stems and roots overflowing. Does not require daily watering or trimming, ficus keeps growing happily in the right environment. 

Respect and love your ficus Bonsai plant and it blesses you with luck.  So many years I avoided growing bonsai plants but am beginning to love the low maintenance and will surely try Bougainvillia and other fruit bonsai plants also
