 There is a flooding of advertisements on open terrace flats, pent houses, houses with sundecks and more and more people, are now opting for buying such houses. the reason is obvious in the past two years with Covid lockdown everyone realized the importance of plants, being near soil and living in enclosed spaces with family members, came the awareness that we all need some space! meaning some open space! Living in concrete jungles away from mother earth we hardly enjoy the touch of raw soil to our feet except for vacations. This is the need of the hour and we need to stay close to nature, and what wonder to have a terrace flat and have our own garden right in your home!

I have been sharing joys of terrace gardens on this garden blog since so many years and am happy to receive the joyful emails as many have started gardening, many have started garden blogging and even entered business of selling plants. I have learned so much from this open space, my little space under the sun. Sunlight can be strong and hurting, yet it is essential for flowering plants. for your terrace garden to flourish you need to have a good garden design, placement of plants and correct choice of plants will keep your terrace garden every green and colorful all year round. Watering can be tough during summers as heat from open terrace is high. In winters you enjoy the amazing warmth of sun rays naturally and feels like bliss! rains are so wonderful, and you can enjoy the showers naturally without anyone looking at you. get wet, have fun with family, enjoy the rains in your own home. Another blessings from my terrace garden is birds, I have experienced immense feng shui Vaastu luck blessings from feeding and providing water to birds. The fluttering, the bathing, the fun they have is so awesome, you can sit and watch them play and eat and of course poop and lay eggs too!

The most magical part comes now, nights under the open sky, trust me these moments are amazing and the inspirations have been spread in my healing paintings and you can sit for hours under the open night sky watching the stars, I have spent hours, even dawn moments are so refreshing, they bring clarity and pure energy flow to the beginning of your day!
