Mahabaleshwar is so Awesum with fruits! I love flowers and fruits!
Being a healing artists I always trust the flow and plan of the Universe to bring me to magical places. I never research about them, they are planned by my husband so actually it is a surprise to see with awe each new destination and traveling with family. There is so much magic in visiting a new place, we usually never repeat places in our travel list. An evergreen tropical tree, you will see loads and loads of Jamun trees all over Mahabaleshwar. A beautiful hill station surrounded by Awesumness all the way! Cool temperatures and fresh air always all year round with horses and monkeys for company, a great welcoming break! The fruits drop by on roads and hardly anyone gives a second glance!

Here we get to taste their Awesum drinks and squashes, for free! And well of course loaded with bottles of syrups, squashes and some great rare fruit drinks like Kiwi, litchi , Saffron (orange colored with silver foil) and Black currant!

There is absolutely no excuse to complain about heat here, at Mahabaleshwar! Cool temperatures all day and nights much cooler!Plateau, hilly regions, mountains, rare birds, horses will sure take your heart away, well groomed ,each one a beauty! Was also important for an artist, to touch feel observe, see, the horses, their gait, their eyes, their skin, their tail, its a beautiful feeling to touch these majestic animals. I just wish they could be free in the mountains galloping happily and not among traffic signals and blaring lights and honking horns! A ride does make you feel on top of the world!
Beware of the monkeys, have clicked so many photographs, families, babies, males and females, this being the Feng Shui Monkey year it was great to see these Awesum hopping Happy Families!

Coming to strawberries, these are cultivated in farms and fresh fruit collected and made into jams, syrups, punches, squashes and delicacies. Commercial production of the fruit is seen here in large quantities Mahabaleshwar as the climate is ideal for the fruits.
Strawberries are grown from plants or seeds. the process of collection of seeds is quite tricky as seeds are embedded in the flesh of the fruit. freezing the fruit hard and then remodeling seeds from the skin carefully helps. So will give this a try! and of course we have our jamun tree growing happily since few years, tried hand at growing oranges , chickoos, melons, and cherries in container, now Karvanda !
Visited this place and it always will holds the same charm and magic! Mahabaleshwar! a great weekend getaway!
