Adapted minds bring beautiful gardens! What I have been struggling wherever we shifted home, from table garden , window garden, terrace garden, entry way garden, window sill garden, vertical garden, adaptation is the key and being a plant lover the obsession continues to buy new plants yet the struggle with environmental limitations and space crunch and the organizational set mind. Yes, we are trained to keep clutter clear, organized gardens and calculated planned growth.
Only fragrances was my aim as I had grown roses, so many and even jasmines, mogra, they are so many types of amazing plants, fragrances and only fragrances rule such gardens!

As the lockdown is extended there is the inner artists who needs to paint and the gardener than needs to add up. The Feng shuii Master in me could not rest with the intense emotions always coming up as I watered my window garden plants. there was a need for energy, new energy.
Gardens need newness. Even though the plants keep growing we constantly need to monitor the growth, transplant, trim, arrange , shift and repot. Dead leaves and dead stems need to be trimmed as they create negative energy in your garden. So after the Nisarga storm in June 2020, we had window garden flooded with water which had to be manually cleaned.

Ceramic pots and garden pots, exclusive unique pots for growing plants. So while you garden, do it in style! and as your greens grow, let them grow with more beauty!
Limited sunlight in our window gardens there are very few flowers so the added colour with bright garden pots is a great feng shuii booster energy.

Tips to grow plants from cutting- place the cut stem in potato or banana. Tried that. for the curry leaves stem brought from market.

The same pots and garden containers get dirty and boring. painting and repotting is a great feng shuii idea to bring positive chi.
The sad part was when I had to throw soil...it was an emotional moment as when I had begun Terrace gardening we had to purchase soil and now it was of no use as we have limited garden space. The posts that needed to be sturdy and tough, cement and ceramic, now today in the window seemed over sized. So had to remove them.

No sunlight means no flowering of bulbs, yet I will keep trying. There are slow death of bulbs...which gradually die off leaving the top green leaves as the bulbs get mushy and die off. That is why it is very important to keep checking upon your window garden. Feng shuii energy starts to stagnate and even affects health and wealth too. A garden makeover was due and so did that!

Once you plant a makeover for your garden things seem to get clear. Not only trimming large shoots, but also changing garden pots and cleaning the ground surface where pots are placed. Garden stands helped so much in keeping my window garden organized and attractive.

Aata Rawa cookies without oven-one cup flour, half cup sugar, 1/2 tsp cardamon powder, half to three fourth cups ghee or cooking oil. Mix, make cookie shapes and place on a greased plate inside a pre heated aluminium vessel covered at very low flame. Ten to fifteen minutes is all it takes for these healthy home made cookie biscuits!

Aata besan cookies- One cup maida, half cup besan.1/4 cup cardamon powder. Pure ghee is best here, mix and make cookie shapes. Put cookies on greased plate in Pre heated vessel, fifteen to twenty minutes, there will be a sweet fragrance. put off the flame. Do not try to remove the cookies when hot, let them dry int he vessel with lid open. After few hours remove gently and these are so melting in mouth and absolutely tasty!

The Universe never rests as we had a unexpected visitor, a baby bat! that too in our window garden that has been sealed by nets! to protect from mosquitoes and creatures. There are owls flying, bats that come out during nights and lizards which I do not like. Being at such heights in towers, yet creatures, mouse, bees, eagles, hawks, butterflies and birds do find their way. So this was challenging as didn't want to kill the baby bat, prayed that it find its way back from where it came. Had to disinfect the window with pesticide due to corona threat as bat birds are carriers of viruses. Didn't touch anything for two days, washed a thorough watering to my garden plants and then finally did the makeover of transplanting in smaller containers so that handling and cleaning becomes easy.

Oreo biscuits cake recipe- No oven cooking is best in feng shuii. as masters advised to avoid oven and other sources to cook food. Directly cooking on fire is recommended as in Feng shuii. Oreo cake is so simple and very tasty and easy. 2 packets Oreo biscuits ground to powder, 1/4 cup sugar. 1 tsp baking powder. Gently add milk and mix till pouring consistency. I have added some flour for the recipe shown on you tube was not perfect. So this time made it great!
