Adapted minds bring beautiful gardens! What I have been struggling wherever we shifted home, from table garden , window garden, terrace garden, entry way garden, window sill garden, vertical garden, adaptation is the key and being a plant lover the obsession continues to buy new plants yet the struggle with environmental limitations and space crunch and the organizational set mind. Yes, we are trained to keep clutter clear, organized gardens and calculated planned growth.
Only fragrances was my aim as I had grown roses, so many and even jasmines, mogra, they are so many types of amazing plants, fragrances and only fragrances rule such gardens!

As the lockdown is extended there is the inner artists who needs to paint and the gardener than needs to add up. The Feng shuii Master in me could not rest with the intense emotions always coming up as I watered my window garden plants. there was a need for energy, new energy.
Gardens need newness. Even though the plants keep growing we constantly need to monitor the growth, transplant, trim, arrange , shift and repot. Dead leaves and dead stems need to be trimmed as they create negative energy in your garden. So after the Nisarga storm in June 2020, we had window garden flooded with water which had to be manually cleaned.

Did some pots coloring and then saw these amazing pots for sale online. Bright colored garden pots. Tiny fluorescent plant containers. Ceramic pots and garden pots, exclusive unique pots for growing plants. So while you garden, do it in style! and as your greens grow, let them grow with more beauty!
Limited sunlight in our window gardens there are very few flowers so the added colour with bright garden pots is a great feng shuii booster energy.
Vertical gardening gives so much space added and even hanging basket plants are happy.

The same pots and garden containers get dirty and boring. painting and repotting is a great feng shuii idea to bring positive chi.
The sad part was when I had to throw soil...it was an emotional moment as when I had begun Terrace gardening we had to purchase soil and now it was of no use as we have limited garden space. The posts that needed to be sturdy and tough, cement and ceramic, now today in the window seemed over sized. So had to remove them.

No sunlight means no flowering of bulbs, yet I will keep trying. There are slow death of bulbs...which gradually die off leaving the top green leaves as the bulbs get mushy and die off. That is why it is very important to keep checking upon your window garden. Feng shuii energy starts to stagnate and even affects health and wealth too. A garden makeover was due and so did that!

Once you plant a makeover for your garden things seem to get clear. Not only trimming large shoots, but also changing garden pots and cleaning the ground surface where pots are placed. Garden stands helped so much in keeping my window garden organized and attractive.

Aata Rawa cookies without oven-one cup flour, half cup sugar, 1/2 tsp cardamon powder, half to three fourth cups ghee or cooking oil. Mix, make cookie shapes and place on a greased plate inside a pre heated aluminium vessel covered at very low flame. Ten to fifteen minutes is all it takes for these healthy home made cookie biscuits!

Aata besan cookies- One cup maida, half cup besan.1/4 cup cardamon powder. Pure ghee is best here, mix and make cookie shapes. Put cookies on greased plate in Pre heated vessel, fifteen to twenty minutes, there will be a sweet fragrance. put off the flame. Do not try to remove the cookies when hot, let them dry int he vessel with lid open. After few hours remove gently and these are so melting in mouth and absolutely tasty!

The Universe never rests as we had a unexpected visitor, a baby bat! that too in our window garden that has been sealed by nets! to protect from mosquitoes and creatures. There are owls flying, bats that come out during nights and lizards which I do not like. Being at such heights in towers, yet creatures, mouse, bees, eagles, hawks, butterflies and birds do find their way. So this was challenging as didn't want to kill the baby bat, prayed that it find its way back from where it came. Had to disinfect the window with pesticide due to corona threat as bat birds are carriers of viruses. Didn't touch anything for two days, washed a thorough watering to my garden plants and then finally did the makeover of transplanting in smaller containers so that handling and cleaning becomes easy. here is a free Reiki healing arts meditation video for

Oreo biscuits cake recipe- No oven cooking is best in feng shuii. as masters advised to avoid oven and other sources to cook food. Directly cooking on fire is recommended as in Feng shuii. Oreo cake is so simple and very tasty and easy. 2 packets Oreo biscuits ground to powder, 1/4 cup sugar. 1 tsp baking powder. Gently add milk and mix till pouring consistency. I have added some flour for the recipe shown on you tube was not perfect. So this time made it great!

I love to add mint and curry leaves, both have immense health benefits and healing properties for our mind body and spirit. Mint aids in digestion, eases out bloating, reduces acidity and the fragrance uplifts mood and mind. The best part, mint is one of the best feng shui plants to attract money wealth luck. Never knew this? Symbolism of Mint in feng shuii is very strong firstly due to the name itself "Mint" Mint is where coins are made. My father is a retired Works Manager from India Government Mint Mumbai. Actually coins are made, MINT, symbolic of growing making money. So the name itself, MINT, brings images of coins, and tons of coins made! The colour of mint is also the colour of growth and wealth in feng shuii.

Practical tip here! As you add mint you will see that the green mint leaves turn black in dishes. The trick to add mint, is I always break the leaves by hand and add fine pieces for the fragrance to last longer in any dish. I also do this for coriander leaves. I wash the mint and sometimes soak them in cold water for few minutes. Then add the mint leaves to dishes and they surprisingly remain green for longer periods on the served dishes. This way I feel my personal energy intentions also adds up to the dishes and they attract good health. I used to chop them earlier with knife but then this method is more personal and you will notice immense health benefits, try this! the mint leaves into pieces by hand instead of knife.

Sharing my personal experience with growing Mint and curry leaves at home for free!
Now you will not have to wait to get fresh herbs during lockdown times. start soon and have your free supply of herbs from small container window garden plants.

1) For mint choose thick stems from the market bought herbs.
2) Pluck leaves for dishes but leave few tiny pinches on the stem.
3) End part of every stem must be cut off. This will open the clogged sealed pores of the stem.
4) Put the stems dipped in container of water. You will see within few hours the stems become fresh and erect.
5) Plant the stems in any small container with rich soil.

6) choose a place with indirect sunlight other wise the newly planted stems will dry off. Do not skip watering during this new phase.
7) You will find some dried stems, remove them. the ones that have picked up growth will show fresh tiny green leaves.
8) When your mint plants are growing healthy only then start to use the leaves. Otherwise the plants may die off if you pluck tiny new leaves. Later on also never pluck full stems, juts see that you cut off from tip needs and let the rooted part remain with few leaves to help the mint plants grow.

In these trying times some care- do not handle soil with bare hands, it is better to use gloves and a tip-apply soap in your nails and then do gardening afterwards the soap can be washed and soil will not get embedded into your nails. I read this and usually I prefer to touch soil and directly plant new saplings too, for the energy, but many prefer gloves. We have indoor gardens so not much interference from outside people.
Salt is the best protection cure from so many feng shuii issues and not just evil eye or negative energy. here is a video of how to use salt and a post about salt cure.
If you have plants outside your home put a circle of salt at the base of every pot. this will protect your home from negativity. Do not touch plants with bare hands while watering.

There has always been a part of me that wants to add up more. It is with my healing art the obsession continues so also with my plants. Earlier in our terrace garden we had a lot of plants, every space had plants growing except for some floor space for seating. If you are an obsessive gardener here I am sharing what I do and what I did in my small space garden, Zen garden.
Life over the years has been
a delicate balance of choices I have made and still do. Its not easy, trust me,
but its worth it!"Deliberate
minimalism", is what struck me always but I find it difficult to live with. This has been on since past many
years in my thoughts.

Stress" and going with Feng Shui, always striving each day to move closer
to Zen, always questioning my thoughts, beliefs, and my surroundings, the
life style of minimalism is Awesum! Working towards letting go of the many
things unused since past few years, yes , even if they are good, precious,, so let go.
Emotional issues when healed
help a lot to go about your day with great confidence and so also if your
surroundings are well organized. My studio and my art, guess still needs to be
well organised, but am sure as I am working towards this, soon everything will
fall into proper place. Again I have removed some old
large plant pots/containers that were heavy for me to handle alone with window sill gardening. It gives refreshing energy, helps heal the past, and also
makes space for new plants and containers! Our garden is one lovable precious part of my
life, full of plants, trimmed them well after Autumn and winter season, and they are
happy, Spring has set in colours, with beautiful fragrant blooms.
For Growing more plants in small space window Garden-
1) choose smaller pots and smaller plants.(remember you will need watering care)
2) Use garden stands and hanging baskets judiciously.
3) Arrange according to the sunlight coming, smaller ones above near the window and larger pots below so that all get proper light for growing.
4) a mixture of recycledcontainers will allow you to add more plants in small space. Cold rink and Bisleri water Bottles are of real help!

Chaos, Mind, Turmoils,
Emotional healing is what is required when you see your garden starving and dull. Like the Seven chakras influence your
emotional status and does affect in more ways than we hardly realize, this also has a serious effect on your garden, at least I immediately notice it! The
emotional state of a human mind affects not only peace and harmony but also
precipitates in serious health problems like stomach problems, heart problems
and back problems. What more however much you treat them medicines only partly
give relief and the symptoms keep coming back. So after the years of chaotic
turmoils, yet still the Universe keeps giving me lessons till we learn
and adapt to our souls way.
I take action and add fresh energy. Simple steps, buy a few flowering plants and care for them.
